Glance puts the things you check every day, such as news feeds, videos, weather and market prices, on one page you host yourself. You choose the widgets and layout in a simple configuration file. It is small and quick to load, and the layout is designed to work on phones as well as desktops.

Keep an eye on your home server

Add a monitor widget with your service URLs to see whether each is online and how fast it responds. The docker-containers widget shows container status, server-stats shows CPU, memory and disk use, and dns-stats reads figures from Pi-hole, AdGuard Home or Technitium. Set up a personal start page

Copy the Startpage layout from the preconfigured pages, then add search, bookmarks, clock, calendar and weather widgets. Pick one of the published themes or set your own colours in the theme section. Add users with hashed passwords under the auth section to limit who can open the page.
