What is AureusERP?
AureusERP gives a growing business one place to manage sales, purchasing, stock, finance and staff. It is built from plugins, so a company can start with a few modules and add more later. Because it is open source and built on Laravel, a developer can change it or write new plugins.
AureusERP is an open-source ERP built on Laravel and FilamentPHP for small and medium businesses. It is split into plugins, so you install only the modules you need, such as accounting, invoicing, inventory, manufacturing, purchasing, sales, projects, employees, recruitment and time off. Roles and permissions are managed with Filament Shield.
Core capabilities
- Plugins cover accounting, inventory, manufacturing, purchasing and sales.
- HR modules handle employees, recruitment, time off and timesheets.
- Role-based access control is built on Filament Shield.
Modules for the whole business
Core plugins such as Analytics, Chatter, Fields, Security, Support and Table View are installed by default. Further plugins cover finance with accounting, invoices and payments, and operations with inventory, manufacturing, products, purchases and sales. People are covered by employees, recruitment, time off and timesheets. There are also modules for contacts, partners, projects, blogs and a customer-facing website, and the repository includes point of sale and maintenance plugins.

Plugins and customisation
Each plugin is installed with php artisan <plugin-name>:install and removed with php artisan <plugin-name>:uninstall. The installer checks dependencies and prompts you to install any plugins a module needs. Uninstalling a plugin removes its database tables and data, so the project advises a backup first. Developers can extend existing plugins or write new ones, and set roles and permissions with Filament Shield.

Run it yourself under MIT
AureusERP needs PHP 8.3 or later, Composer, Node.js and a MySQL 8.0, MariaDB 10.6 or PostgreSQL 16 database. Clone the repository, run composer install, then run php artisan erp:install to set up the database, roles, permissions and the admin account. The README starts it with php artisan serve for local use, and a production setup runs behind Apache or Nginx. AureusERP is released under the MIT licence, and Webkul, the company behind it, also sells a paid managed cloud hosting service.

Use cases
- 01
Take a customer from quote to invoice
Install the Sales plugin with php artisan sales:install, then set up products, price lists and customers. Create a quotation with order lines, email it to the customer and confirm it as a sales order. Invoice the order for either the ordered or the delivered quantities, depending on the invoicing policy you choose.
- 02
Track stock across your warehouses
Turn on the inventory settings you need and set up warehouses, locations and operation types. A confirmed purchase order creates a receipt, and validating it moves the goods into stock, while a confirmed sales order creates a delivery. Moves History shows every movement, and the stock report shows what sits in each location.

Handle leave requests and approvals
In the Time Off app, create leave types such as Paid Time Off and list your public holidays. Allocate days to each person, then employees request leave by picking a type and dates. A manager approves or refuses the request, and the balance and the shared calendar update.
